In 2005, ten-year-old Adre’Anna Jackson left her home in Lakewood, Washington to walk the short distance to school.

What she didn’t know was that school had been canceled because of snow. She never came back.

Search teams, police, and even the FBI looked for her, but she wasn’t found until months later, when children playing near an abandoned lot discovered her remains.

Her death has never been fully explained. There was a person of interest, but no one has ever been held accountable.
